Grant Basics
Conflict of Interest
Council members must avoid any real or apparent conflicts between their official role and their own personal or private interests.
In general, a member of an LCC must not act in an official capacity in matters in which the member has a personal financial stake or in
matters affecting the financial interests of others who are closely related to the member.
For more information about what to do when a conflict of interest arises, see Appendix B of the
LCC Program Guidelines.
