Funding Priorities:
The Tyringham Cultural Council (TCC) strives to provide diverse offerings that include performance and hands-on opportunities reflecting all the arts, cultural and community events of interest. The council awards grants to organizations and individuals for the presentation of quality programs in the humanities, sciences and the arts. Although we fund regional projects, we prioritize projects that are inclusive and reflective of our town's population. Our highest funding priorities are listed below:
1.) Proposals originated by local persons
2.) Proposals serving all age populations including youth and seniors
3.) Proposals relevant to our local schools (Lee)
4.) Programs held at local/nearby venues in Tyringham, Lee, Lenox, Monterey or Otis
5.) Projects that lead to affordable programming
6.) Collaborative projects between cultural groups and community organizations
