FY24 Local Priorities
Lynnfield Cultural Council is proudly committed to enhancing the cultural offerings within Lynnfield in a multitude of ways. Our Council is here to help promote meaningful cultural events and to encourage cross-collaboration between in-town organizations. We strive to build and support a community of local artists, scientists, historians, educators and local service organizations. Finally, we hope to find innovative ways to celebrate the many diverse cultures that are represented within our town.
The Lynnfield Cultural Council gathers input from the community yearly and develops funding priorities based on this feedback.
This year the Lynnfield Cultural Council will give priority to:
Projects that focus on exploring the rich cultures of Lynnfield residents
Projects that serve youth, the elderly or a marginalized group
Projects that focus on local history
Applicants that have secured a local venue
In addition to the state criteria applications will be evaluated using the following review criteria:
How well the program meets our local priorities
Community support and involvement
Evidence of track record and dedication of the applicant
Ability to address the diverse cultural needs of a community’s underserved populations or support diverse forms of cultural activities
